About me.

Hi! My name is Andrew Warner and I’m a New York-based reporter covering education and culture. But considering the poor SEO on this website, if you’ve managed to find yourself here, you probably knew that already.

I’ve been writing stories since my mom taught me how to use Microsoft Word on our ancient desktop computer back in 2002. Since then, I’d like to think my stories have gotten a bit better.

I’m currently working as the newsroom manager at MultiLingual Magazine, where I cover the language services industry. Prior to that, I was working with my university’s student newspaper, the Daily Bruin, editing and writing anything and everything UCLA-related. I’m also a regular contributor to U.S. News and World Report, Sactown Magazine and Language Magazine, and have also had work published in Vox, The Takeout, and many others. Feel free to take a look at my writing samples and don’t hesitate to reach out if you’re interested in working together.
